What your customers see in the attendee portal

Your customers have their own portal where they can see every booking they've made with you, download any files you've shared, check their class credit balance, and access their receipts. Knowing what the portal looks like from the customer side helps you answer their questions and set the right expectations. This article walks through the portal from the customer's point of view.

How customers access the portal

  1. 1Customers visit your public page (or any booking confirmation link) and click My bookings in the navigation.
  2. 2They log in with the email address they used to book. No password needed — a magic link is sent to their inbox, which they click to get in instantly.
  3. 3Once inside, they see all their bookings across all Classy instructors they've ever booked with — the portal is shared, but each instructor's data is separated.

What customers can see and do

  1. 1Upcoming bookings: date, time, class name, instructor, and location. They can add any upcoming class directly to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
  2. 2Past bookings: a full history including what they paid, whether a refund was issued, and any digital files attached to the class.
  3. 3Class credits: current balance, how they were earned (refund, manual grant, or class cancellation), and which classes the credit can be used on.
  4. 4Files: every digital download you've attached to a class they attended — available any time, even after the class date has passed.
  5. 5If they have a seat assignment, it's shown next to the booking so they know where they're sitting before they arrive.

Common customer questions this answers

  • "Where's my confirmation?" — it's in their email, and a copy is also in the portal under Upcoming bookings.
  • "Do I have any class credits?" — yes, they can check their current balance in the portal at any time.
  • "Can I download the recipe PDF?" — yes, any file you've attached to a class they attended is in the portal under Past bookings.
  • "What's my seat number?" — shown on their upcoming booking if you've assigned seating for the class.
  • Directing customers to the portal for these questions saves you from answering the same emails repeatedly.
