Create a custom seat map for a class

If seats matter in your space — couples who want to sit together, workstations with different views, a supper club with one long table — the seating designer lets you recreate your room and put every attendee in an exact seat. Design the map once, attach it to any class, and checkout takes care of who sits where.

Design a seat map

Open Seating from your dashboard and create a new seating chart to launch the designer.
Add round or rectangular tables and drag them to match your room. Chairs come attached to each table — adjust the number of seats per table as you go.
Add standalone chair rows for workshop or theater-style setups, plus text labels and markers (like the door or a screen) so the map is instantly recognizable.
Click any table to name it — clear names like 'Window Table' or 'Table 3' make it easy for attendees to find their spot.
Name the chart, optionally assign it to a venue to keep multiple rooms organized, and click Save.

Attach a seat map to a class

Open the class from your dashboard and click Edit.
Scroll to the Seating section and choose one of your saved seat maps.
Save. Seat selection is now part of checkout for that class.
The same map can be attached to as many classes as you like — design your room once and reuse it for every session you teach there.

How attendees choose seats

Checkout gains a Choose Your Seat step: attendees see your map, tap an open seat, and already-taken seats show as unavailable.
Booking for a group? The buyer picks a seat for every guest in their party, one by one.
Chosen seats are held for about 10 minutes while payment is completed, so two buyers can never grab the same seat.
Every confirmed booking keeps its seat — you can see the full assignment on the class roster at any time.

Seat maps on class day

The check-in screen shows each attendee's seat next to their name, plus a compact seat diagram, so you can point people to their spot as they walk in.
Need to shuffle at the last minute? Reassign any attendee's seat from the roster — the map updates instantly.
Attendees who booked before you attached the seat map simply won't have an assignment yet — give them one from the roster in a couple of taps.
