QR code check-in and class hosts
Check-in turns attendance tracking from a clipboard chore into a one-tap task. Every confirmed attendee gets a QR code in their booking confirmation — they show it at the door, you scan it, and the dashboard updates instantly. You can also check in manually by name, or hand off the whole process to a class host so you can focus on teaching.
Enable check-in for a class
- Open the class from your dashboard and click Edit.
- Scroll to the Check-in section and toggle Enable check-in on.
- Save. A Check-in button will appear on the class page for you and any hosts.
Add a class host
- Open the class and click Edit.
- Scroll to the Hosts section and type the host's name or email.
- Select them from the list and save. Hosts receive a link that opens the check-in screen directly — no full account access needed.
Check in attendees on the day
- Open the class check-in screen on your phone (or hand the link to your host).
- Tap Scan QR code to use the camera, or scroll the list and tap an attendee's name to check them in manually.
- To mark someone as a no-show, tap the attendee and choose Mark as no-show. They're recorded as absent without being removed from the roster.
Tips for smooth check-in
- Send the host link to your volunteer a day before so they can familiarize themselves with the screen.
- The check-in list updates in real time — if you're at the door and an instructor is at the back, you'll both see the same live picture.
- No-shows are recorded separately from cancellations. You can use the no-show data to follow up with a kind message or adjust your booking policy.
- Check-in history is saved on the class page and downloadable for your records.
