Sell prepaid class packages

Just need the quick answer?

See the short version in the FAQ

Prepaid packages let your regulars pay once for a bundle of sessions and book with credits instead of pulling out a card every time. You get revenue upfront and a built-in reason for customers to keep coming back; they get a better rate and a faster checkout. Set one up in a few minutes, share the link, and we'll track every balance for you.

Create a package

  1. 1Open Private Lessons from your dashboard and choose the Packages tab.
  2. 2Click Create package and give it a name customers will recognize (for example, 5-Lesson Package). Add a short description of what's included.
  3. 3Set the number of sessions in the package and the total price. Pricing the bundle a little below the single-session rate is what makes packages sell.
  4. 4Choose eligibility: any private lesson, or only the specific classes you pick.
  5. 5Optionally set an expiry as a number of days after purchase — leave it blank and the credits never expire.
  6. 6Save. The package is immediately available for customers to buy.

Share the purchase link

  1. 1Your packages have their own purchase page: your public page URL followed by /packages (for example, /sarahs-pottery/packages).
  2. 2Share that link anywhere you talk to customers — Instagram bio, newsletters, or a follow-up message after class.
  3. 3Customers pick a package, pay once, and their credits are ready to use right away — all they need is the email address they book with.

Track sold packages and remaining credits

  1. 1Open Private Lessons › Packages and scroll to Sold packages by customer.
  2. 2Each purchase shows who bought it, how many sessions they have left, and the expiry date if there is one.
  3. 3Customers can also see their own remaining credits in their attendee portal, so you'll rarely field 'how many sessions do I have left?' emails.

How credits work at checkout

  • When a customer books an eligible class, a Use a prepaid package option appears automatically at checkout with their remaining balance.
  • Redeeming takes one tap — the credit covers their spot, and no card payment is needed for that booking.
  • Packages are matched by email, so remind customers to book with the same email they used to buy the package.
  • Each package shows its sessions remaining (for example, '3 of 5 sessions left') and its expiry date right on the checkout screen.

Good to know

  • When a package expires, unused credits can no longer be redeemed — mention the expiry window in the package description so nobody is surprised.
  • Editing a package changes what new buyers get; customers who already purchased keep the credits and terms they bought.
  • Credits apply only to the classes you made the package eligible for — everything else checks out at the normal price.
