Track class sign-ups with Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel helps you understand which Meta ads bring people to your public Classy pages and which campaigns lead to completed ticket purchases. You only need to add your Pixel ID once. Classy loads the Pixel only after a visitor gives marketing consent, and it never sends attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form answers to Meta.

Find your Meta Pixel ID

  1. 1Sign in to Meta Business Suite and open Events Manager.
  2. 2Select the correct business and data source, then choose your Meta Pixel.
  3. 3Open the Pixel details or data source settings and copy the numeric Pixel ID. Copy only the number — not the Pixel name or any surrounding text.

Add your Pixel ID to Classy

  1. 1Sign in to Classy and open Settings.
  2. 2Choose Business, then scroll to the Meta ads tracking section.
  3. 3Paste your numeric ID into the Meta Pixel ID field.
  4. 4Click Save changes. Classy validates the ID before saving it to your business profile.

What Classy tracks

  • PageView: someone visits your public instructor storefront.
  • ViewContent: someone opens a valid public class page.
  • InitiateCheckout: Stripe or Square successfully creates a checkout session.
  • Purchase: payment is confirmed as paid. Repeated success-page visits do not count the same purchase twice.

Consent and privacy

  • Visitors must choose Allow on the marketing-consent banner before the Pixel loads or sends events.
  • Visitors who choose No thanks are not tracked by the Pixel.
  • Classy does not send attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form answers to Meta.
  • Draft previews, dashboard previews, and demos are not tracked.

Test your Pixel

  1. 1Open Events Manager in Meta, select your Pixel, and open Test Events.
  2. 2In another browser window, visit your public Classy instructor page and choose Allow on the marketing-consent banner.
  3. 3Open a public class and proceed to checkout. Confirm that Meta receives the PageView, ViewContent, and InitiateCheckout events.
  4. 4A Purchase event is sent only after a checkout is confirmed as paid.
