Sell add-ons at checkout

Add-ons let you sell physical items, digital extras, or experiences alongside a class booking without running a separate checkout. A pottery class might offer a materials kit. A cocktail class might offer a second round. A sewing workshop might sell a pattern pack. Whatever makes sense for your classes, add-ons let you offer it at the moment of booking — when attendees are most excited and most likely to say yes.

Create an add-on

  1. 1Open Add-ons from your dashboard sidebar.
  2. 2Click New add-on and give it a name attendees will see at checkout (for example, "Materials kit" or "Glass of wine").
  3. 3Add a short description and an optional photo — a clear product photo increases take-up significantly.
  4. 4Set the price. Add-ons can be any amount; there's no minimum.
  5. 5Optionally set a stock limit if the quantity is finite (for example, you only have 10 aprons to sell).
  6. 6Save. The add-on is now available to attach to any class.

Attach an add-on to a class

  1. 1Open the class from your dashboard and click Edit.
  2. 2Scroll to the Add-ons section and choose the add-on you created.
  3. 3Save. During checkout for that class, attendees will see the add-on listed as an optional extra — one tap to include it, one tap to skip.

Track add-on sales

  1. 1Open Add-ons from your dashboard sidebar.
  2. 2Each add-on shows total units sold and total revenue.
  3. 3Click an add-on to see every order it was purchased with, including the class, the attendee, and the date.
  4. 4Add-on purchases also appear on the Payments dashboard alongside the main class payment — they're part of the same transaction.

What makes a good add-on

  • Sell something that genuinely makes the class better — a materials kit means attendees arrive prepared and you don't have to bring extra supplies.
  • Price add-ons at a round, easy number. $15 converts better than $14.99 for something people are buying impulsively alongside a class.
  • A clear photo of the add-on roughly doubles conversion versus no photo. Even a quick phone shot on a neutral background works.
  • If an add-on sells out (stock limit reached), it disappears automatically from checkout — you don't have to manually remove it.
